Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will close early at Magic Kingdom on Saturday, November 28th. Walt Disney World’s website lists the Tomorrowland comedy show with hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm that day, while the park itself stays open until 10:00pm. Disney has not shared a reason for the shorter schedule. Here’s the latest.

Mike Wazowski is calling it an early night on Thanksgiving weekend. On nights when Magic Kingdom closes at 10:00pm, Laugh Floor usually welcomes its last audience around 9:00pm. Disney’s attraction page now shows a 6:00pm close on November 28th, three hours earlier than normal. That still leaves nine hours to catch a performance, starting when the park opens at 9:00am.
Planning Your Day Around the 6:00pm Close
Laugh Floor makes an easy pick at any point in the day. The air-conditioned theater invites the whole family to grab a seat and rest their feet between Tomorrowland rides. Disney also invites guests to “Text your favorite joke before the lights go down,” and Mike Wazowski might pick yours for the show. Planning the perfect joke gives kids something fun to do while they wait.
The early close matters most for guests who save Tomorrowland for after sunset, so families heading to Magic Kingdom on November 28th should catch the show before 6:00pm.
Another Shortened Schedule at Magic Kingdom
Laugh Floor joins a short list of Magic Kingdom attractions with trimmed November hours. Earlier this week, we reported that Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid will close at 7:00pm on November 5th. That ride normally stays open until the park closes at 10:00pm. Disney has not explained either change.
Thanksgiving weekend visitors will also plan around two longer closures. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure stays closed for its first-ever refurbishment until its December 18th return. Over in Tomorrowland, Carousel of Progress remains offline for its major reimagining, with a return planned for late spring 2027.
