The Jungle Cruise news keeps rolling in today! Following our detailed look at the new characters that guests will find on the reimagined Jungle Cruise attraction at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, we have another bit of construction news to report.
As you can see in the photos below, the Magic Kingdom version of Jungle Cruise currently has a massive tarp in place where a new scene will soon be installed.
While Disney hasn’t officially confirmed where guests will be able to see some of the new scenes that will debut on Jungle Cruise later this summer, the size of the tarp seen in the photos above lead us to believe that this is where the long-lost Kwango Kate will sit. Here’s a look at concept art for the scene where chimpanzees take over the boat that was abandoned by the “trapped safari” seen earlier in the ride.
This scene was where the tribal dancers were. More specifically, this is where the “previous crew” of skulls on a canoe could be seen.
