According to the Disney Magic Key availability calendar, there are more days unavailable than available for the remainder of 2021. Here’s a look at the current availability calendar.
When you’re a Magic Key holder, Disneyland is your land—you’re a townsperson on Main Street, U.S.A., a galactic citizen of Batuu, a hero at Avengers Campus, a local at Pixar Pier and beyond. You belong to the community of core Disneyland fans who all share a passion and love for the parks.
Out of the 76 days left in 2021, there are only 16 dates available for Disneyland’s biggest fans to visit Disneyland Park. Magic Keyholders looking to visit Disney California Adventure will find 32 dates available. That translates to an 80% sold out figure for Disneyland and just under 60% sold out for Disney California Adventure.
It’s clear that when you combine the Disneyland Magic Key program with the reservation calendar, the experience for Disneyland’s biggest fans is worse than ever. It’s unclear what Disneyland capacity is currently set at, but all dates in November and December are still available for regular ticket holders to make theme park reservations for both parks.
Hopefully, the lack of availability is due to Disney’s self-imposed capacity limits (a fixable problem) and not due to Disneyland rolling out a broken frequent visitor program from the start.
