While Disney World officials remain silent on the latest status of the TRON Lightcycle Run roller coaster, progress continues to be made to complete the exterior of the building and the feature illuminated canopy.
Earlier this month, Walt Disney Imagineering filed permits for the installation of audio/visual lightning and show control elements for the TRON Lightcycle Run attraction at Magic Kingdom. Now, in some recently taken photos of the TRON Lightcycle Run canopy, we can see a lot of tech installed as Disney continues to make progress on what will be an impressive art piece for Tomorrowland once the canopy is completed.

Disney has not announced an updated opening date for TRON Lightycycle Run. Originally, the attraction was announced to open before the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary began earlier this month, but construction delays prevented Disney from hitting that target.
