Crews are hard at work to refurbish the massive 40′ tall electric guitar at the entrance to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction.

Perhaps a bit tough to tell from these “before” photos, the guitar was looking a bit rough in recent months and certainly could use a fresh coat of paint.

Here’s a look at the scrim covering the guitar now.

The 22-year-old attraction is closed this morning due to technical difficulties unrelated to the refurbishment of the guitar.
