Just steps away from Savi’s Workshop where Disney recently enacted a 10% discount for the experience due to a lack of a carrying case, Droid Depot has succumbed to supply chain issues and they are out of stock of the carrying boxes. Just like Savi’s Workshop, guests are being offered a clear plastic bag to carry their droid around, but unlike Savi’s Workshop, Cast Members said that there is no discount offered for the Droid Depot.
On the Droid Depot website, Disney lists a “Carry box” as being included with the $99 price tag for the build-a-droid experience.
It’s unfortunate that Disney was able to pivot and add a discount for one shortage, but unable to add a discount for the exact same issue at a nearby location.
