According to a report from the OC Register, Imagineers have begun work on refreshing the Magic Key Terrace at Disney California Adventure.
Walt Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine said that Disney California Adventure wanted to create a space specifically for Magic Key Passholders.
When we started our Magic Key program, the park decided that it would be a really great thing to have a location for them that they could call their own, kind of like Club 33 has their own location. Now the Magic Key members have the same thing which is really wonderful.
Of course, the Magic Key Terrace won’t offer anything close to the level of service that Club 33 Members enjoy, but the lounge will be a secluded, private space exclusively for Magic Key members.
The bar and eatery is expected to be completed in Spring 2022, and the existing space will remain open throughout the work.
