In a call with CNBC today, Disney CEO Bob Chapek said that between one-third and 50% of all guests are purchasing Disney Genie+ when visiting the Disney theme parks. Genie+, which is Disney’s paid skip-the-line service, debuted in fall 2021 at Walt Disney World.

In Chapek’s last estimate, he said that about one-third of guests were purchasing Disney Genie+ at Walt Disney World, leading us to estimate that Disney could make up to $300 million in profits from Genie+ alone in 2022. It seems that Disney could make even more given Chapek’s updated estimates.
