Pirates of the Caribbean to Remain Closed Through Early Summer at Disneyland

When we first announced the Pirates of the Caribbean refurbishment at Disneyland, it wasn’t clear how long the refurbishment would last. The end of the refurbishment calendar at that time was only available through March, and the internally listed date was simple as far out as the calendar would allow for.

Now, the iconic attraction is closed at Disneyland, and Disney has announced that it will remain closed for at least a couple of months – reopening in “early summer 2022”. Still, an exact date has not yet been identified beyond “early summer”, but the internal calendar shows a status of being under refurbishment through the end of April.
