Disney World Simplifies, Reduces COVID-19 Messaging on Official Website

Following the removal of face masks from every corner of Disney World (with few exceptions), Disney World has simplified the messaging surrounding COVID-19 and health and safety measures at the most visited theme parks in the world.

Here’s a look at the previous health and safety messaging at the top of the official Walt Disney World website. In the banner, there were links to face mask rules, operational guidelines, modifications in offerings, Disney Park Pass information, and a COVID-19 risk warning.

In the updated health and safety banner, a lot of the links have been removed, with only a link to the Disney Park Pass system and the “Experience Updates” landing page.

The Disney World experience is largely what it used to be prior to COVID-19 with the major exception being the continuing use of the Disney Park Pass reservation system – a system initially implemented to manage capacity at the theme parks, but now used by Disney for yield management.
