Earlier today, we decided to drop by Disney’s BoardWalk Resort to get an updated look at the significant construction taking place on the northeastern section of the entertainment and dining destination.
With the removal of certain thematic elements of the space previously occupied by the ESPN Club now gone, a sign advertising The Cake Bake Shop is now in front of the construction.
Just behind the shrubs, crews were jackhammering away at some parts of the concrete, while others were installing new concrete walkways.
The rolling shrubs extend in front of the BoardWalk Bakery, which will reopen as the BoardWalk Deli on August 15th.
A sign informs guests of their temporary dining options while the work takes place.
Here’s a look at some of the theming that will change in the coming days.
