Select Disney World Restaurants Begin Setting Aside Additional Dining Reservation Inventory for Hotel Guests

Select Walt Disney World restaurants are now setting aside additional dining reservation inventory for guests with a confirmed hotel stay on the date that they would like to make a reservation to dine. The additional reservation inventory will be bookable when the guest is eligible to book – that is when a valid hotel reservation has been linked to the My Disney Experience account, and when the restaurant is accepting reservations for the date in question. Guests with a valid Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation will automatically see the additional capacity in the My Disney Experience app or website that guests without a linked reservation would not see.

Only select Disney World restaurants are participating in this additional capacity pilot right now, but more locations may be added at a later date. As of publish time, the locations that are offering additional reservation capacity for Walt Disney World hotel guests are:

    • Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
    • Boma – Flavors of Africa
    • California Grill
    • Chef Mickey’s
    • Grand Floridian Cafe
    • Steakhouse 71
    • Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera

The number of available additional reservations available for hotel guests is limited and may change based on demand.

    1. I am so glad to hear this. I have stayed with my children at yacht or beach club maybe 20 times and have never, ever, been to beaches and cream. Maybe 2023 is finally our year! Resort Guests should have first rights to restaurants, even more so for restaurants in the hotel they are staying in. How frustrating it is to be paying 800 a night and can’t eat dinner in your own hotel.

    2. This doesn’t solve the problem at all. There are so many making fake resort reservations in order to have the +10 window, then dropping the resort reservation by the time a deposit is due, yet have possession of the dining reservation. This just encourages more of that behavior.
