Frozen Sing-Along Reopens From Refurbishment With Refreshed Seats & New Carpet, Finally Drops Physical Distancing

The Frozen Sing-Along show has returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and we dropped by this afternoon to take a look at the changes. There have been no changes to the show storyline, but the choreography has finally returned to pre-COVID norms – a change that multiple Cast Members said was made official after the refurbishment. We previously noted that the holiday version of the show had dropped physical distancing, but this marks the official removal of physical distancing choreography from the regular show.

In addition to the slight changes in choreography, the theater itself received a refresh, with brand-new seat covers and carpeting being the most obvious. Cast Members also noted that some of the physical elements on the stage had also received a refresh, but there were no changes or additions to the set.

First, here’s a look back at the aging seats and carpet from before the refurbishment.

Here’s a look at the newly refreshed seating and carpet from our viewing this afternoon!

And here’s a look at some of the choreography that drops the physical distancing that was previously in place. The Frozen Sing-Along was one of the final examples of physical distancing at Walt Disney World.

    1. They didn’t update the show?? After all that time?? The songs in Frozen 2 are so great. I was hoping they’d find a way to include pieces from both movies. We’ve seen it half a dozen times so this is a skip for us from now on.
