Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is currently on an international trip to Israel, spoke with reporters today about the lawsuit that Disney filed against him and his hand-selected Oversight Board members yesterday. According to a report from Reuters, DeSantis told reporters “I don’t think the suit has merit, I think it’s political”.
In the lawsuit, Disney accuses DeSantis and his Board of trampling the Company’s First Amendment right to protected speech. The lawsuit claims that DeSantis engaged in “a targeted campaign of government retaliation” and that DeSantis threatens Disney’s business operations, jeopardizes its economic future in Florida, and violates the Company’s constitutional rights.
Yesterday evening, the Florida Senate passed a bill that seeks to nullify the Development Agreement between Walt Disney World and the District.

Odd, that’s what I call DeSantis’ entire life – political and meritless. =P
My whole career is a joke
Oh, so it’s _Disney_ that’s being political. I see. What a turd of a man.
Corporations are People too, that’s what the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Citizens United and so they have the same free speech rights as any person does. What Ron DeSantis is doing is punishing Disney for exercising their free speech rights, it’s a clear violation of the constitution unless the high court reverses Citizens United which would be huge.
The pot calling the kettle black. Disney invested billions in FL and turned it into a wonderland!
You ought to be kissing their *ss*s instead of kicking it. Your day of comeuppance will come.
