A new meet and greet is now open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, allowing guests to meet Ariel from Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. The meet and greet opened today and is located at the end of the Walt Disney Presents gallery. The wait time was posted at 60 minutes when we visited, but we waited closer to 90 minutes.

The meet and greet space takes over the former Sulley Monsters Inc. meet and greet area. Instead of scenes from Monsters Inc in the queue, there is artwork from The Little Mermaid in what was probably a very low-budget retheme of the queue. Disney spent some effort in the meet and greet itself, with a video screen showing a sunset scene as we meet Ariel in the castle. Here’s a look at the queue and meet and greet experience.

There was a long line for opening day, stretching through the Walt Disney Presents exhibit.

Inside, a switchback has some art on display and the same layout as the Monsters Inc. meet and greet before it.

Ariel meets from 9am to 5pm, daily.
