The Walt Disney Company has announced that Disney CEO Bob Iger will appear on CNBC’s Squawk Box in an interview with David Faber. The interview will be broadcast from the Allen & Company’s Sun Valley conference on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at approximately 8:00am ET. Here’s the announcement:
Robert A. Iger, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS), will appear on CNBC’s Squawk Box in an interview with David Faber from Allen & Company’s Sun Valley conference on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m. ET/ 5:00 a.m. PT.
Disney did not say what the interview would cover, but Disney is facing some headwinds in its media climate and a softening of crowds at its most popular theme park complex. Iger’s contract is set to expire at the end of next year, and he has been adamant (so far) that he will not extend his return to Disney.
