The former (temporary) Starbucks location at EPCOT is showing signs of life as stanchions and a retheme of the Traveler’s Cafe is underway. Located near Refreshment Port, Traveler’s Cafe was the temporary Starbucks location between the demolition of Future World and the opening of Connections Cafe in the renamed World Celebration.
While visiting EPCOT earlier today, we noticed that the location now has a queue set up and a refreshed look. Here’s a look back, followed by a current look at the refreshed Traveler’s Cafe!
The unlikely revitalization could be for a dedicated space to sell Beaver Tails when the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off later this month. Officially, the sugary treat will be sold at Refreshment Port, but it’s unclear if the facility can support the new menu item and the resulting demand for the long-awaited return of an EPCOT classic.
Of course, it could be for one of a number of separate Global Marketplace venues set to open later this Fall.
