Happy Fourth of July from EPCOT where the Heartbeat of Freedom fireworks show once again put on an impressive display of Disney World’s fireworks might. The Heartbeat of Freedom is technically a “tag” and not a show unto itself, playing immediately after the EPCOT Forever fireworks show.
The Heartbeat of Freedom is, by far, the most explosive-heavy show at Walt Disney World, turning night into day as hundreds of fireworks fire simultaneously during the finale. In addition to a chest-rattling amount of fireworks launched from World Showcase Lagoon, Disney utilizes a launch point in The American Adventure, creating layers of fireworks when viewed from World Showcase Plaza, which is where we watched from tonight.

Over at Magic Kingdom, guests enjoyed Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. Unlike EPCOT, Magic Kingdom does the same Fourth of July programming on July 3rd and July 4th. At EPCOT, the Heartbeat of Freedom tag is only shown on July 4th.
