Pirates of the Caribbean has yet to open today at Magic Kingdom, and with just a few hours left in the regular operating schedule due to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the attraction is facing all-day downtime. According to data from thrill-data.com, Pirates of the Caribbean has faced downtime every day over the past month with the exception of three days. On four days out of the past month, the attraction has faced more than 200 minutes of downtime during the day and rarely has less than an hour of downtime per day.
Cast Members at the attraction were not sure when it may reopen. The Connect 4 game was out, which is typically not a good indication. An apology was sent to guests via the My Disney Experience app from Magic Kingdom VP Sarah Riles.
