Construction Walls Installed Around Pirates of the Caribbean Clock Tower in Magic Kingdom

Joining Jungle Cruise with some off-season construction is Pirates of the Caribbean, also in Adventureland. While visiting Magic Kingdom recently, we noticed some construction walls installed around the clock tower that defines the exterior facade of the attraction.

Before we take a look at the construction walls, here’s a look back at the clock tower from back in 2021. As you can see, the former Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom portal was still visible and was still installed before the construction walls were erected.

Here’s a look at the area from a recent visit to Magic Kingdom.

In terms of visual changes, we can see that a light was removed from the clock tower.

If Disney wanted to go all-in on the work, we’d imagine that a repainting would be on the list. With the removal of the light, we might see scaffolding installed soon as some of the paint has chipped away.
