Walt Disney World lists Monday, January 4th, 2027, as the final day for Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom. The classic Jungle Cruise returns the next morning, Tuesday, January 5th, after nine weeks of holiday jokes in Adventureland. That current timing means that the Jingle Cruise will end two days before Disney’s holiday season concludes at Magic Kingdom, which ends January 6th.

Jingle Cruise has been the holiday version of the Adventureland boat ride since 2013. It returns on November 3rd and headlines our 2026 Magic Kingdom holiday guide, alongside the castle lighting and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The final day for the Jingle Cruise falls four days into 2027, so guests can still catch the holiday jokes after New Year’s Day. Until now, Disney’s description of the ride has said only that Jungle Cruise “will return early next year.”
On days without a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Disney lists Jingle Cruise from 9:00am to 10:00pm. Party days, which continue through December 22nd, list earlier hours that end at 6:00pm, as is standard for all rides in the park. Disney also lists the ride as open until midnight on December 30th and 31st.
The last day to enjoy the Jingle Cruise is currently set for Monday, January 4th, with hours of 9:00am to 9:00pm. Jungle Cruise has the same hours the next day, Tuesday, January 5th.
How This Year’s End Date Compares
Disney has moved the finish line from year to year. The 2025 overlay ended January 1st, and the classic ride returned the next day, January 2nd.
In 2023, the overlay stayed open through January 8th, with Jungle Cruise back on January 9th. This year’s January 4th finish falls between the two, three days after the 2025 finish and four days before the 2023 finish.
