The (World Famous) Jungle Cruise will return on January 2, 2026, according to an update from Walt Disney World. Currently, the holiday edition Jingle Cruise overlay is operating at Magic Kingdom, and will continue on a daily basis through January 1st. Here’s the latest.
Jungle Cruise Returns Jan. 2, 2026
The Jungle Cruise is one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World, and every year, the ride enjoys a holiday overlay, transforming into the Jingle Cruise. This year, the Jingle Cruise returned to Magic Kingdom on November 3rd, some 11 days before the official start of the holiday season. Now, we know how long the festive overlay will be in place.
The Walt Disney World website has been updated to show operating hours for the Jungle Cruise, the standard version of the Adventureland attraction, beginning January 2, 2026. The transformation from Jungle to Jingle and back to Jungle all happens overnight – like magic!
While we haven’t been on the Jingle Cruise this year yet, we understand that there is nothing substantially gnu. That said, the holiday overlay is a must-do for us every year, and I’m sure we’ll have some coverage for you soon.
