Disney World has announced that the Tree of Life Awakenings projection shows will return this November after a summer hiatus. As you may remember, the last day to see the projection shows before the summer hiatus was March 11th – the day before Daylight Saving Time. Instead of keeping Animal Kingdom open later for guests to enjoy the projection shows and a $500 million expansion that comes alive at night, Disney simply kept shorter hours at Animal Kingdom.
Here’s the announcement about the return of the Tree of Life Awakenings:
Tree of Life Awakenings returns to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in early November after daylight saving time ends. As the sun sets, the Tree of Life will awaken with limited-time projections of stunning visuals teeming with vivid color and animated imagery in harmony with inspiring music and sounds.
