Glass Windows & Sliders Installed at New Polynesian Village Resort Disney Vacation Club Tower

As Disney World continues to target a late 2024 opening for the new Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the project recently hit another significant milestone. Earlier this month, glass windows and sliders were installed for select rooms as construction continues. Recently, we rode by on the monorail and snapped some photos of the progress.

The upper floors of the main tower now have glass and sliders installed although it’s sometimes difficult to differentiate between the reflection of the monorail glass and windows in the resort. We’ll keep gliding by to get a better look at the north wing.

Disney has previously shared that it intends to open the DVC expansion in late 2024. Here’s concept art of the building.
