Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Partially Evacuated Following Chemical Incident

Earlier today, a portion of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was evacuated following a chemical incident in one of the restaurant kitchens. The incident involved cleaning chemicals in a back-of-house portion of the kitchen, according to a spokesperson for the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District. The kitchen and restaurant were evacuated and 22 employees were evaluated. No guests were affected.

The scene has since been cleared by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Fire Department.
