While visiting EPCOT today, we stopped into the Canada Pavilion to find even more scaffolding removed from around Hotel du Canada. An overcast sky afforded us a wonderful look at the paint scheme without the harsh light of the sun this morning.
Speaking of the hash light of the sun, here’s a “before” look at the structure with perhaps an overly beige paint scheme.
And here’s a look at the hotel from our visit to EPCOT this morning. Of course, even though it’s modeled after the Chateau Laurier hotel in Ottawa, the building serves no purpose for guests outside of the ground level being the home to Le Cellier. The fall colors really work well alongside the overcast skies.
From the front of the pavilion, we can see that the area is still behind construction walls, although we’re hopeful that those will be removed sometime this month. As you can see on the far left side of the photo immediately below, Christmas decorations were still installed at EPCOT this morning even through the Christmas Tree has been removed. Magic Kingdom should be the last park to officially celebrate Christmas with today being the final day for the popular Jingle Cruise attraction.
