The 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway, and the Chalk Full of Character offering has returned this year! While there is a proper scavenger hunt with the Figment Brush with the Masters offering, Chalk Full of Character is a more laid-back scavenger hunt with no prizes and no official list of characters. That said, we’ve done a pretty thorough scan of the World Showcase countries and have a list of the characters that we’ve found. Let’s get started!
Mexico Pavilion
Dante
At the two front entrances to the Mexico Pavilion pyramid, guests can find Dante, the dog from Coco. Dante appears in his mortal and colorful afterlife versions.
Norway Pavilion
Snowgies
Located on the side of a building near the Restrooms, guests can find the Snowgies from the Frozen Fever animated short. Guests can also find some Snowgies on the Frozen Ever After attraction nearby.
Bruni
Also in the Norway Pavilion, guests can find Bruni from Frozen II. You can find Bruni in an outdoor fireplace near the outdoor seating area for Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.
China Pavilion
Little Brother
Over in the China Pavilion, guests can find Little Brother from Mulan near a bench on the outside of the House of Good Fortune.
Mushu & Cri-Kee
Over near The Joy of Tea, you’ll find Mushu and Cri-Kee.
Germany Pavilion
Pascal
Keep a careful eye out because a chameleon isn’t always the easiest character to spot! In fact, there are three Pascals to find around the pavilion. One can be found near Karamell-Kuche, one near Volkskunst, and another over near the restrooms.
Italy Pavilion
Luca and Alberto
Over in the Italy Pavilion, we see the return of Luca and Alberto along with Machiavelli the cat and a purple crab.
The American Adventure
Meeko & Flit (NEW)
All new this year are two characters from Pocahontas! Meeko the raccoon and Flit the hummingbird are on a column over near the restrooms.
Japan Pavilion
Duffy and Gelatoni
Duffy and Gelatoni can be found outside of the Mitsuloshi Department Store.
Chef
Walking toward the back of the Japan Pavilion and standing on the bridge leading to the castle, we can find Chef from Monsters Inc.
Morocco Pavilion
Abu
To find Abu, walk through the archway and make a right before you get to the central outdoor market seating area.
France Pavilion
Remy & Emile
On the walkway to the back of the France Pavilion, guests can spot Remy and Emile halfway up the buildings on the left.
Abigail, Amelia, and Uncle Waldo (NEW)
New this year are the ducks from 1970 animated film The Aristocats. Abigail, Amelia, and Uncle Waldo can be found near the bridge closest to the France Pavilion.
United Kingdom Pavilion
Peter Pan
Peter Pan’s shadow is visible near a window above the Toy Soldier shop.
The Great Mouse Detective (NEW)
New this year are characters from The Great Mouse Detective. Guests can spot Basil of Baker Street, David Q. Dawson, and Hiram Flaversham in an iconic chase scene from the movie where they try to catch Professor Ratigan, Fidget, and the kidnapped Olivia Flaversham.
Sword in the Stone
Returning this year are squirrels from the Sword in the Stone movie.
Canada Pavilion
Koda
Koda from Brother Bear returns this year, and can be found near a stream in the Canada Pavilion.

Baby Groot is actually back. Saw him today (1/21/24). Disappointed that so many others are gone, but I do love that they don’t use your typical characters!
Great to hear! We’ll be returning shortly to see if Disney added more characters since our last visit
