Despite not being listed on the My Disney Experience app or Disney World website, “surprise and delight” meet and greets are regularly occurring in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. Chip & Dale and Stitch have been regularly meeting over at the discontinued Buzz Lightyear meet and greet area near the Carousel of Progress.
As a refresher, Chip & Dale used to meet over in Storybook Circus in the years after the COVID closures, but they moved over to Tomorrowland last Fall. Last summer, longtime COVID “sighting” Stitch made his way down from the Rockettower Plaza stage and began roaming Tomorrowland. Now, Stitch switches on and off with Chip & Dale on a regular basis as the only characters you can meet in Tomorrowland.
It’s not clear why Disney World doesn’t officially add the characters to the My Disney Experience app, but make sure to keep an eye out when visiting Tomorrowland to see if you can meet with Chip & Dale in futuristic costumes or Stitch.
