With Joy moving over to her new home in Pixar Plaza at Disney’s Hollywood Studios June 10th, the EPCOT meet and greet in the Imagination Pavilion will end.
The Joy meet and greet in the Imagination Pavilion debuted in January 2020. Joy meets with guests in front of an “Imagination Land” backdrop, with lighting in the area periodically showcasing Bing Bong from the Inside Out movie as well.
The Imagination Pavilion meet and greet space itself was a temporary location after Joy and Sadness were relocated from their former Character Spot located as it closed to make room for the construction of the Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana walkthrough attraction. Sadness didn’t make the move to the Imagination Pavilion.
