As we approach the one year anniversary of the construction project next to the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT, we wanted to take a new look at the current progress. Recently, more hardscape has been added as well as columns for what will likely be a shade structure.
First, some context as to where this project is located. It’s technically along the “Rose Walk” between the Imagination Pavilion and World Showcase. For years, there was a playground in this area, as well as food kiosks for EPCOT’s various festivals. In fact, a portion of this area was completed and opened for the start of the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival.
In the photos below, we can see where it is positioned. Our vantage point into the construction zone is from a balcony overlook at the Imagination Pavilion. More specifically, this overlook is near the jumping fountains at the exit to the Pixar Short Film Festival.
