A new, simplified braille map has debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Located on Discovery Island, near the Island Mercantile gift shop, the new map features a simplified design, departing from a look that more closely resembled the park map. The change is consistent with changes over at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

The new design features higher contrast imagery and raised landmarks with unique texture patterns for each land. The map has also been updated to reflect the removal of the Primeval Whirl attraction in DinoLand USA.
