After Four-Month Hiatus, Disney Parks Twitter Account Resumes Posting

After more than four months of not posting to Twitter, the Disney Parks account has posted today. The Disney Parks account had its last tweet back in November 2023 before going dark for four months. The hiatus was likely due to anti-Semitic Tweets from site owner Elon Musk, and a pause in advertising spending on the platform. The main account for The Walt Disney Company has still not posted since mid-November.

Other accounts owned and operated by Disney have been posting to Twitter all along, but the Disney Parks account was one of a number of accounts that were on hiatus. It’s unclear what has changed that made Disney want to resume tweeting after such a long break, but it looks like they will reengage on the platform moving forward.
