Disney Springs Drone Show Testing Underway

UPDATE (12:15pm): Even more photos and video of the overnight testing! Our original article continues below.

Ahead of the May 24th debut of the Disney Dreams That Soar drone show, testing is underway at Disney Springs. The drone show, which is presumably created by Dronisos, features 800 drones and a gigantic display that will stretch into the night sky twice per night this summer at Disney Springs.

A photo posted by Twitter account mandieboox3 shows Figment in the skies above the Disney Springs West Side, with Cirque du Soliel to the left and the whatever box (formerly the NBA Experience) to the right. We would normally embed the tweet, but it contains some colorful language that, while a wonderful inside joke for Disney fans, might not be appropriate for all readers of this site.

Testing is taking place during overnight hours when Disney Springs is closed to guests.

Figment was not one of the characters previewed by Disney, but we expect that there will be plenty of fan-favorite characters to be found throughout the 10-minute show. For a preview of the show, including a listen to an original song created for Disney Dreams That Soar, check out the video below!
