Patriotic bunting has arrived at Magic Kingdom ahead of the Memorial Day holiday. This marks one of the earliest installations in recent memory, with Disney typically saving the red, white, and blue for the Fourth of July holiday season.
Magic Kingdom Memorial Day Decorations
We’ll start at the main entrance, with a traditional layout of bunting along the railing at the Main Street USA Railroad Station.
On the opposite side of the train station, more bunting can be found. When we visited, the bunting was only on the Town Square buildings. In the past, it has extended down Main Street USA as well, but maybe Disney’s saving the full dress for the Fourth of July holiday.
City Hall and the Chamber of Commerce buildings have received their typical bunting layout.
Over at the Town Square Theater, bunting extends from the upper railings of the “theater” to the Tony’s Town Square Restaurant to the left.
The Confectionery was also partially decorated when we visited.
The fire house and Car Barn received bunting as well.
The Emporium was the last building along Main Street USA to be decorated during our recent visit. We’ll head back to Magic Kingdom before Memorial Day to see if more decor gets installed, or if additions can be expected in late June, as has been typical.
