Christmas is back on Main Street USA. When we visited Magic Kingdom today, the Christmas tree was standing tall in Town Square, wreaths and garland lined the street up to Cinderella Castle, and holiday music was playing along the way. The decor is in place just days before Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party opens for the season.
Magic Kingdom Christmas Decorations 2026 on Main Street USA

Holiday decor now stretches from the park entrance to the hub in front of the castle. The first Very Merry Christmas Party is Sunday, November 8th, and every November party night is already sold out. Disney’s full lineup of Magic Kingdom holiday offerings starts November 13th. We didn’t spot anything new compared to last year’s Main Street decor, so expect the classic look fans come back for every year.
The first decorations greet guests before they reach the turnstiles. Out front, a Mickey Mouse topiary wears a Santa hat and a red-and-white striped scarf, holding a few ornaments while he stands on a wrapped present. Garland swags with big red bows hang from the railing below the Magic Kingdom sign on the train station. The rooflines near the entrance have their own garland too, packed with ornaments, poinsettias, and fruit.
Christmas Tree and Toy Soldiers Return to Town Square
Inside the park, the Christmas tree towers over Town Square again. Popcorn garland loops around its branches, mixed in with red bows, gingerbread figures, rocking horses, and oversized ornaments. Around the base, a pile of giant presents surrounds a toy train, a drum, and a row of small toy soldiers.
Larger toy soldier figures stand guard in the flower beds nearby, flanked by candy cane striped posts. Under the blue skies we had today, the reds and golds on the tree and the soldiers stood out against the Town Square buildings. Expect a crowd around the tree for photos once the holiday season gets going.
Wreaths and Garland Line the Way to Cinderella Castle
Main Street USA follows the same classic pattern as past years. Wreaths with big red bows and a tall candle in the center hang from the white arches over the street. Lampposts wear garland and wreaths of their own, filled with pineapples, oranges, and other fruit, plus a few small white bells.
The storefronts are dressed up too. Garland hangs beneath the Main Street Cinema marquee, along the balcony at Uptown Jewelers, and over the entrance to Main Street Fashion & Apparel. Inside one of the shops, Mickey and Minnie peek out of a sack of gifts in a sleigh, with Pluto along for the ride. A sign below them says “Delivering Holiday Magic Down Every Street.” Another display nearby pairs a Cinderella Castle model with framed snowman artwork.
The decor carries all the way to the hub. Wreaths hang from the lampposts around the Partners statue, and garland trims the wall in front of Cinderella Castle. With Christmas music playing the whole way, our walk up Main Street felt like the holiday season had already started.
