UPDATE: Affected dining locations are expected to reopen for dinner after a broken pipe was repaired. Our original article continues below.

An overnight leak has closed a gift shop and restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today. The leak appears to have originated at the Kona Cafe, and affected the Boutiki gift shop below it. Both locations are closed this morning, and guests with impacted dining reservations were offered alternativeย breakfast and lunchย accommodations.

It’s currently unknown how long both locations will be closed, but there was significant damage to merchandise at Boutiki. Fans are in place at Kona Cafe to dry out the area, and Cast Members are at the restaurant entrance to assist guests.
