Dok-Ondar Returns to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge After 5-Month Vacation

Dok-Ondar has been scouting the galaxy for new treasures, or so the (in-theme) story goes, and he has been missing from his Den of Antiquities at Disney’s Hollywood Studios since sometime in early to mid-April. When he is missing, a red curtain is pulled across his desk as seen below.

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is a shop found within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge where guests can find collectibles from around the galaxy. Hidden inside the den, you’ll encounter a rotating collection of unique items that include everything from jewelry to ancient tools, rare kyber crystals to statues – and even a collection of famous lightsabers. The eclectic assortment of goods comes from many different planets and eras.

Dok-Ondar is an impressive audio-animatronic figure, constantly moving around his station as calls come in from around the galaxy – presumably looking to offload some wares or to inquire about the latest trinkets to enter the den. I often like to pop into the Den of Antiquities to escape the hustle and bustle of the streets of Batuu and watch Dok-Ondar do business for a little while. Being able to watch a figure like Dok-Ondar outside of an attraction or show is a rare thing in any theme park, so we often take the time to enjoy it when visiting Batuu.

Here’s a look at Dok-Ondar’s return to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
