As Walt Disney World continues to pilot the Lightning Lane Premier Pass skip-the-line offering, it has expanded the eligibility requirements to all Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests. Previously, the expensive skip-the-line service was limited to guests staying at a Deluxe Resort hotel. The idea was that the service would be limited in sales to ensure a rather minimal impact on operations. Now, the service will be available to all hotel guests.
Disney said that they are “[expanding] the Lightning Lane Premier Pass pilot to all Disney Resort hotels”, and that “the pass continues to be offered in very limited quantities”. There are otherwise no other changes to the Lightning Lane Premier Pass product.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass
Lightning Lane Premier Pass gives guests a one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time.
Eligible Guests can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay—for their entire length of stay (up to 14 days)—starting at 7am Eastern Time.
Eligible Resort Hotels (NEW)
Premier Pass Price Ranges
- Magic Kingdom: $329 to $449 per person, plus tax
- EPCOT: $169 to $249 per person, plus tax
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $269 to $349 per person, plus tax
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $129 to $199 per person, plus tax
It’s possible that Walt Disney World will keep Lightning Lane Premier Pass limited to resort hotel guests for now, perhaps through the holiday season, before eventually rolling it out to all guests.
