Guests looking to meet with Dug & Russell at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be happy to know that the duo are meeting together once again! The change occurred over the holiday season, and we’re hopeful that it’ll stick going forward. We made it out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom earlier today to visit Dug & Russell’s Wilderness Explorer Club House, which was still decorated for the holiday season.
Dug & Russell ‘UP’ Meet & Greet at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
When Dug & Russell returned to the Wilderness Explorer’s Club House to meet with guests back in March 2024, they met separately. By May, Dug was actually roaming the Discovery Island area and talking with guests! Russell continued to meet at the Wilderness Explorer’s Club House by himself as Dug roamed around.
Unfortunately, Dug stopped roaming and talking with guests, which saw the lovable pup return to the Wilderness Explorer’s Club House, still meeting separately from Russell. Now, the two are meeting together again, returning to the pre-COVID style of meet and greet.
Dug and Russell are still listed separately in the My Disney Experience app, but their meet and greet times overlap, which means that they’ll meet together. Here’s a look!
