For the first time in years, a daily meet and greet with Dug or Russell has returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Dug & Russell’s Wilderness Explorers Club House has reopened for the first time since COVID-19 shut down the Disney World theme parks in Spring 2020. Previously, guests could see Dug & Russell on a Discovery Island pontoon boat Flotilla, but there hasn’t been a daily meet and greet at the Club House in years.
Dug & Russell’s Wilderness Explorers Club House is located on Discovery Island, near the entrance to “It’s Tough to be a Bug”, on the right side of the Tree of Life. Here’s a look at the space, which is entirely outdoors (but covered), which means that it’s subject to inclement weather.
