A new Spirit Jersey is now available at Magic Kingdom, and it features a fun postcard-style design that brings characters and iconic parts of the world’s most-visited theme park into the Magic Kingdom logo on the back of the garment. The Spirit Jersey is available in The Emporium. Let’s take a closer look!
Magic Kingdom Postcard Style Spirit Jersey | $79.99
The front of the Spirit Jersey is rather unassuming, simply featuring the Walt Disney World “D” logo and “Est. 1971”. It’s not until we turn the Spirit Jersey around that we find a wonderful design that instantly reminds us of a postcard-style design that attempts to give you a window into a locale within the lettering.
The back of the Spirit Jersey features a colorful display of the Magic Kingdom font logo above the Walt Disney World logo. Let’s take a closer look.
Here’s a rundown of the scenes or characters within each letter:
- M – Walt Disney World monorail swoops in front of palm trees and Cinderella Castle
- A – Smiling Orange Bird extends the lower-case “a” with a leafy top
- G – Mickey Mouse is represented in the “g” with a Mickey Mouse ear hat and his iconic red pants with yellow buttons
- I – “it’s a small world” clock can be seen within the “i”, even extending outside of the lettering a bit
- C – Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which will (ironically) be closed for most of the year, is featured within the “c” along with a TNT-loving goat and desert scene
Let’s take a closer look at “Kingdom” next. Keep a close eye on the details around the letters for a fun flair to the lettering:
- K – A Jungle Cruise boat and hippo are found within the “K”
- I – The “i” appears to be cosplaying as a swashbuckling pirate
- N – Dumbo the Flying Elephant is represented in the “n”
- G – Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion version of a “g”
- D – Blast off to the future with a rocket in front of Space Mountain in the “d”
- O – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is subtly represented with a water lily
- M – The popular Seven Dwarfs Mine Train attraction closes out the word
