After months of construction, a shaded outdoor seating area opened at Chicken Guy in Disney Springs late last month. We made it out to Disney Springs recently to take a look at the area, which no longer shows signs of construction. Chicken Guy remained open during the work.
Chicken Guy Outdoor Shaded Seating Area
The new shaded seating area replaces a similar seating area that previously featured individual umbrellas over tables. The new structure provides some shade from the sun, but it confusingly features spaces between the roof slats, which would allow rain to enter the space. This means that guests might have less protection from the elements than before the work, unless there is a way to close the space between the slats if needed.

Chicken Guy remains a top spot for a grab-and-go meal at Disney Spring after joining the Planet Hollywood dining complex back in August 2018.
