Scaffolding Rises as Refurbishment Begins on St Mark’s Campanile Bell Tower in EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion

St Mark’s Campanile is under refurbishment for the second time in as many years. Earlier this week, scaffolding appeared around the base of the tower, and now it’s starting to rise up the tower for a refurbishment of the iconic landmark. We made it out to EPCOT this morning to take a look at the early stages of this refurbishment.

As you can see in our photos below, the scaffolding reaches up to nearly the halfway point of the structure. All other locations and offerings within the Italy Pavilion are unaffected by the work taking place at the bell tower. Here’s a closer look.
