With less than two weeks to go until the March 5th start of the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, we’re continuing to keep an eye on topiary installation around the park. In this article, we’ll take a look at two returning topiaries – one for Coco, and the other for The Lion King.
Coco Topiary Featuring Miguel and Dante
Starting in World Showcase, we’ll find the Coco topiary in the same spot as last year – near the Mexico food kiosk, but not quite in the Mexico Pavilion. Last year, Disney debuted the first-ever projection mapping effect on the Dante topiary, but there were no signs of a projector installation when we visited. With just under two weeks, there is plenty of time for Disney to roll out the projector again this year if they’d like to.
Personally, I hope that they roll out projectors or nighttime lighting to the majority of topiaries this year. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on that once the Festival begins.
The Lion King Topiary
To find the Lion King topiary, head over toward the Imagination Pavilion, but take a stroll along the walkway that leads to CommuniCore Hall. The Lion King topiary will be found just outside of the CommuniCore Plaza area. The Lion King topiary display features Mufasa, Sarabi, and Rafiki holding up a young Simba. Here’s a closer look!
