Walt Disney World is gearing up for the 2025 holiday season, and they have released initial details for the EPCOT holiday season. The big news for EPCOT is the return of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays event, but it doesn’t stop there. Here’s a rundown of what guests can expect to find at EPCOT during the 2025 holiday season!
2025 EPCOT Holiday Season
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
EPCOT is Walt Disney World’s festival park, and the holiday season is no exception. That said, EPCOT gets a bit of a late start on the holidays thanks to the lengthy EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. That said, the holiday season begins at EPCOT before the Thanksgiving leftovers are gone.
The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays runs November 28th through December 30th, stopping a day early to allow for the biggest New Year’s Eve holiday bash at Walt Disney World.
As part of the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, guests can find the following offerings during the holiday season!
Candlelight Processional
Witness a retelling of the nativity story at the popular Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theatre, held nightly at 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., with a runtime of approximately 50 minutes. With celebrity narrators bringing the story of Christmas to life onstage, seating is first-come, first-served and often fills up fast during this popular performance, so plan ahead and make it a priority on your visit if you want to experience this stunning show.
Holiday Storytellers
Part of the charming allure of World Showcase during this time of the year are the Holiday Storytellers, sharing festive traditions and bringing holiday tales to life in their respective countries. Here’s some unique stories and performers you can expect to see during your visit this winter:
- Mexico Pavilion – Las Posadas Celebration
- Norway Pavilion – A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa
- China Pavilion – Chinese Lion Dancer
- Italy Pavilion – La Befana
- Japan Pavilion – Daruma Storyteller
- Between the Morocco and France Pavilions – Hanukkah Storyteller
- France Pavilion – Père Noël
- United Kingdom Pavilion – Father Christmas
- Canada Pavilion – Canadian Holiday Voyageurs
Voices of Liberty as Dickens Carolers
The Voices of Liberty return with their signature Victorian attire for the holiday season as they perform as the Dickens Carolers. Check out our article below for photos and video of the special seasonal performance!
JOYFUL! Celebration of the Season
Experience the spirited “JOYFUL! Celebration of the Season” in CommuniCore Plaza featuring a combination of classic songs and updated arrangements with powerhouse vocalists,
Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses
Living with the Land also transforms during the holiday season, with sparkling Christmas lights and dazzling decor. This relaxing and educational tour through a glittering greenhouse is a perfect escape from a fun-filled day, showcasing the incredible work of Disney World plant scientists and their innovative growing techniques and technologies.

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Scavenger Hunt
This year, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt returns, sending you on a journey around World Showcase to locate Olaf in 13 different spots throughout EPCOT. Find 13 holiday traditions that Olaf has discovered in every pavilion around World Showcase before visiting Creations Shop or World Traveler at International Gateway to redeem a special holiday prize.
Figment Ugly Holiday Sweater
This is in the unannounced category, but we’d bet that Figment sports his ugly holiday sweater again this year. He usually puts it on around the start of the Festival of the Holidays, and will continue wearing it until the end of the season.
