As EPCOT continues to prepare for the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, we’re getting a first look at some new theming for an area of the event called Harvest Hollow. If you have no idea what Harvest Hollow is, you’d be forgiven. Harvest Hollow was introduced in 2024 and is a small area with food kiosks and autumn theming. This year, Disney is expanding the theming of Harvest Hollow to include new original woodland characters and a themed picnic area. We made it out to EPCOT recently for a look around!
Harvest Hollow Expands for 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival
The lore of Harvest Hollow is expanding this year with all-new original woodland characters. While signage in the area isn’t fully complete, we have a first look at what you can expect when the 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival kicks off August 28th!
New Original Characters
A number of new characters are introduced this year, expanding the lore of Harvest Hollow. New characters can be seen on updated signage for the three “Global Marketplace” food kiosks, and other theming in the area. In addition, new signage in the area provides some backstory for the woodland critters who call Harvest Hollow home.
Squirrel loves to farm and gather
In the forest and the field.
With every passing harvest,
Greater grows his yield!
At every country fair,
He snatches up first prize.
His ambition’s never-ending
as is his enterprise.
In all of Harvest Hollow
Who’s the most debonaire of chaps?
Who dines on tasty dishes
In between his naps.
He rarely shares his bites,
Even though he should
For he is the best-fed Fox
In the Bramblewood!
Picnic Area & Playground
Work is underway on a themed picnic area and playground. The space will take over the permanent picnic area along the Rosewalk pathway from World Celebration to World Showcase. Here’s a look around!
