Installation of “snoap” (snow + soap) machines and Christmas lights is underway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The return of holiday infrastructure to support the magical snowfall and decorative lights means that the 2025 Holiday Season is just around the corner. This year, the Walt Disney World holiday season begins November 14th, and preparations are underway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Early Work Underway for Holiday Season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently, we noticed that early preparations are already underway to transform the park into one of the best spots at Walt Disney World to hang this holiday season. While Hollywood Studios’ best holiday seasons are arguably behind it with the departure of the Osborne Lights years ago, it’s still one of my favorite parks to visit during a rare chilly Central Florida day.
The first signs of the upcoming holiday season are usually spotted on the rooftops of buildings along Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard as the snow machines arrive. Here’s a look at the recent installation of the $4,000 faux snow machines.
Christmas lights have also been installed in some of the bushes along Sunset Boulevard!
When the decorations have all been installed, and it’s time for festive cheer, here’s a look at what the snow machines will provide along Hollywood Boulevard and other areas of the park.
