T-Shirt Prices Increase, Discount Shrinks at Walt Disney World

|

Guests looking to purchase from the popular “More Magic” graphic t-shirt racks at Walt Disney World will find that the prices have gone up, and the discounts have shrunk. The change was implemented recently, likely toward the end of the previous fiscal year (September 2025) as Disney prepared for incremental price increases across merchandise, food and beverage, and more lines of business. Here’s a look at the change.

“More Magic” Discount Shrinks, Price Increases

As a quick refresher, the “More Magic” discount typically applies to the wall of graphic t-shirts found within the Walt Disney World theme park gift shops, at the resort hotel gift shops, or at the World of Disney gift shop in Disney Springs. It’s a sort of permanent discount that guests can usually rely on. The “More Magic” discount essentially drives down the price when you purchase two or more graphic t-shirts.

Here’s a look at the old “More Magic” discount. As you can see from our photo below, the base price of a graphic t-shirt used to be $29.99. However, if you purchased two qualifying shirts, the “More Magic” discount would kick in, and the per-shirt price would drop to $25.

  • Base price | $29.99
  • More Magic price | $25 each
  • Savings | 16%

Here’s a look at the new “More Magic” discount, now rolled out across the Walt Disney World Resort gift shops. The new base price is $32.99 per shirt, with the new discounted price set at $29.99. Basically, the discounted price used to be the old base price. Not only have the prices gone up, but the discount percentage has shrunk as well. Here’s a look at the math.

  • Base price | $32.99 (+10%)
  • More Magic price | $29.99 (+20%)
  • Savings | 9% (-40%)

If Walt Disney World wanted to raise prices, they would’ve needed to get the “More Magic” discounted price down to roughly $27.99 to keep the percentage discount in the same ballpark as the previous “More Magic” discount.
