PHOTOS, VIDEO: Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM Returns for Disney Jollywood Nights 2025

|

The holiday season is underway at Walt Disney World thanks to the debut of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Disney Jollywood Nights. We were in attendance for both parties, and while we’ll have plenty of content to bring you, we’re going to head over to Jollywood Nights now to check out the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM fireworks show for 2025! In addition to a look at the show, we’re going to offer some commentary on why we’d like to see fireworks return to Hollywood Studios full-time. Let’s take a look!

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM Fireworks Show 2025

Here are some photos of the more fireworks-heavy portions of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM, followed by some commentary on the show, what it’s like to watch fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, some of the challenges the park has faced with fireworks displays, and what we’d like to see happen in the future.

I want to start by saying this: the area in front of the Chinese Theater is a wonderful venue for a fireworks and laser show. As may have been evidenced from our photos, we watched the show from a little further back – in line with the projection towers – and the visuals were wonderful. The lasers create this immersive ceiling that frames the fireworks wonderfully.

While the storyline of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM is uninteresting and slow at times, there are moments of energy that make us long for a proper nighttime show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Going all the way back to 2016, we discussed some of the challenges that Disney’s Hollywood Studios faces with fireworks shows. At the time, the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular show was presented at the park, and the fireworks were off-center. We discussed why this was the case at the time.

Unfortunately, the fireworks launch point has since been retired, removing the possibility of a similar fireworks show in the immediate future. That said, the future isn’t necessarily in fireworks, but in drone shows.

Back in August 2024, we asked, “Which Walt Disney World Theme Park Should Get A Drone Show in 2025?“. The obvious answer among Disney fans was Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but I think that Disney’s Hollywood Studios could be a wonderful contender.

This isn’t real, but it could be

Ultimately, there isn’t a lot of love for Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM, and I wouldn’t carve out a bunch of time for it if you’re attending Disney Jollywood Nights this year. In fact, I would say that the majority of the crowds showed up some 10 minutes before showtime and then quickly dispersed after.

That said, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM is a wonderful reminder of what could be. A projection and laser show, layered with some rooftop fireworks and drones, would be an excellent addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year.

I’ve heard absolutely nothing to suggest that this is the case, but a passholder can dream, right?
