Only Five Dates Remain for 2025 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets

|

We’re back to check in on ticket availability for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party following an impressive run of sold-out dates. As it turns out, sellouts continue with two more sold-out dates since we last checked in. At this pace, it looks like the party could sell out in the next 6-10 days, if not sooner, as ticket sales continue to outpace last year. Here’s an updated look at availability, followed by some commentary on the pace of ticket sales.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Down to 5 Dates

The latest dates to sell out for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are December 7th and December 9th, leaving just five dates left available for purchase. The first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event is tomorrow, November 7th, and the event will run on select nights at Magic Kingdom through December 21st.

With just five dates remaining, Walt Disney World is currently about 2-3 weeks ahead of the ticket sales pace set last year. Last year, the entire party sold out by November 30th. I would be surprised if tickets were still available by Thanksgiving, given the current pace of sold-out dates.

In terms of what could be causing this, it could be a surge in interest. At record-high price points, I’m not sure that’s the only factor.

My hope is that the increase in sold-out dates reflects an even lower event capacity. While Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been less crowded in the post-COVID timeframe, there are still some nights and areas within the park where it can feel quite busy.

If Disney is intent on continuing to raise ticket prices higher and higher each year with no substantially new offerings, it is incumbent upon Disney to create a better in-park experience. The best way that Disney could pull off a better in-park experience would be to lower the event capacity. It doesn’t need to be as low as Disney After Hours, but a lower capacity would lead to phenomenal word-of-mouth for a party that already isn’t necessarily struggling to sell out every year.

We’ll be in attendance on the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, bringing you a look at this year’s event and a check on the crowds.
